Toplita

Topliţa (Hungarian: Maroshévíz) is a town in Harghita county, Romania. The name is of Slavic origin, meaning "hot water spring". The town lies in the north of the former Székely (Szekler) county of Csíkszék.
Demographics
The town lies on the northern fringes of the Székely lands and has an ethnically mixed population. According to the 2002 Census the town has a population of 15,880 of which 11,291 (71,1%) are Romanians, 4,039 (25,4%) are Székely Hungarians and 486 (3.1%) are Roma.
