Tom Rukavina

Tom Rukavina was born in August 1950. He graduated from the University of Minnesota at Duluth, with a Bachelor of Art degree, cum laude, in political science.
He was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives during the elections of 1986, at the age of thirty-seven. He has been reelected seven times and began his eighth term in the Minnesota House on January 3rd, 2001.
Rukavina represents the Iron Range, a proud union region with unabashed left wing economic policy support. He embodys the working class tradition of the 'range'.
Rukavina is known as one of the last true politicians that fight for the working man.
