The Yellow and Black Attack
|
The Yellow and Black Attack EP was the first release of the Christian metal band Stryper, out on July 10, 1984. It featured six songs: "From Wrong To Right", "Loud N' Clear", "You Know What To Do", "Co'mon Rock", "You Won't Be Lonely", and "Loving You". No singles were released from the EP, and only 10,000-20,000 copies were pressed, their label, Enigma Records, being unsure of the potential market for Christian metal.
During this tour Stryper opened for bands like Ratt and Bon Jovi, leading to some critics' claims that they were not a genuine Christian band.
The EP was re-released on August 10, 1986 with the songs "Reason For The Season" and "My Love I'll Always Show" added, and a different cover.
