The Man Who Stepped into Yesterday or Gamehenge as it is also known is the senior study of Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio. It is an extremely rare album, and is not sold anywhere but bootlegged copies. It was written while he attended Goddard College in 1988. The story was a tape and essay piece and is primarily composed of a collection of songs written by Trey. The story is told in 9 parts and includes some narration in between each They are as follows:

.Intoduction (Wilson Prelude)

.Lizards

.Tela

.Wilson

.AC/DC Bag

.Colonel Forbins Ascent

.Fly Famous Mockingbird

.Sloth

.Possum

The story tells the tale of Colonel Forbin, a retired aging ex-military man who doesn't have a lot going for him. One day while walking his dog McGrupp, Forbin comes across a door that leads him to the land of Gamehenge, where he soon meets a knight known as Rutherford the Brave. Rutherford tells Forbin that he is a one of the native inhabitants of Gamehenge, a race of people known as the Lizards. He also tells him that the Lizards are under the control of the evil king Wilson who came to their land a long time ago and stole the Lizards sacred book, the Helping Friendly Book, and used it to enslave them. After Rutherford almost drowns in a river, he is rescued by Tela. Tela is another Lizard who rides upon a Multibeast, one of the beasts of burden used by the Lizards. Tela's sidekick, the Unit Monster, dives into the river to save Rutherford. After Rutherford is revived one of his fellow revolutionaries, the beautiful Tela, he explains how they are members of a group of revolutionaries that are trying to overthrow Wilson. The three of them head back to the revolutionaries camp where Forbin is introduced to the leader of the revolutionaries, a man name Errand Wolfe. Meanwhile in the town square of the Capital city of Prussia, Wilson's Accountant, a man named Mr. Palmer is being executed for giving money to the revolution. The hanging is done by a giant robot known as the AC/DC Bag. When news of Mr. Palmer's death reached the camp spirits were low and everyone was just about to give up on the revolution. Forbin had gone to Tela's hut to tell her that he loved her, but as soon as he spoke, Rutherford The Brave burst into the room and killed Tela and her Multibeast. Outraged, Forbin demanded to know why he had done this, Errand Wolfe answered that, Tela had been a spy for Wilson. After all this confusion Forbin decided that he needed to end the fighting, so he headed off towards the giant mountain that arose from the middle of the forest. He needed to climb this huge mountain to speak with Icculus, the prophet who lived at the mountain's peak and who had written the Helping Friendly Book. After he completed the almost impossible climb he begged for help from Icculus who agreed to help the Colonel. He sent his friend the Famous Mockingbird to fly to Wilson's tower and retrieve the Helping Friendly Book. The next morning the Mockingbird dropped the book at the feet of Errand Wolfe and Rutherford, two men stood in shock, but quickly Errand snatched the book and the Famous Mockingbird in his hands. He tied the Mockingbird to a pole, then told Rutherford of his plans, he would first kill Wilson and then use the Helping Friendly Book for his own plans. Errand sent off for The Sloth, a giant beast of a man, to assassinate Wilson. After Wilson was gone, Errand Wolfe imprisoned Colonel Forbin and took over Gamehenge. He had become a leader just as bad and wicked as Wilson was, and Icculus looked down from the mountain and smiled because he had warned Forbin that the Book could become a deadly weapon in the hands of avarice and greed. So the revolution was destined to fail by succeeding. Since this story was written, Phish has added many other songs that tie into the Gamehenge universe such as The Divided Sky, Llama, McGrupp and the Watchful Horsemasters, Punch You In The Eye, Icculus, and Harpua.
