The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd
|
The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd was an NBC dramedy in the 1980s, which starred Blair Brown as Molly Dodd.
The show, similar to thirtysomething, depicted the life of a yuppie woman living in New York City, who dealt with a variety of issues in her life ranging from career to family to dating. Unlike the traditional sitcom, storylines often did not resolve in a single episode.
It was created by Jay Tarses.
Although the show was a moderate success in the ratings, it was never a big hit, and after being put on hiatus a number of times, it was finally cancelled in 1988. New episodes ran on the Lifetime Network through 1991.
