Tasman Highway

The Tasman Highway is a highway in Tasmania, Australia. Like the Midlands Highway, it connects the major cities of Hobart and Launceston - however it takes an alternate route, via the north-east and east coast of the state. It designated highway number is the A3. The route of the highway passes through the localities:
- Launceston
- St Leonards and other Launceston suburbs
- Scottsdale
- St Marys
- St Helens
- Triabunna
- Orford
- Sorell
- Rosny and other Hobart suburbs
- Hobart
The Tasman Highway is named for Abel Tasman, like the state itself; however this particular highway is so named because it faces the Tasman Sea.
