Talk:Pataca
|
Notice: I have received from Y.K. Leung the following message. Some text and images were copied (by someone who did not request permission) from his Chinese numismatics web site [1] (http://home.netvigator.com/~ykleungn) to pataca. His message, granting permission, is shown in this file. My original request to him is quoted in his reply. Regards, Robert Dodier (Wile E. Heresiarch 15:53, 27 May 2004 (UTC))
Write Monetary Authority of Macau also, please. -- Kaihsu 18:15, 2004 Mar 1 (UTC)
Pataca was moved to pataça for some reason. I've reverted the page move, as it appears to be incorrect. The name is written "pataca" on the coins themselves and written "pataca" on many thousands of web sites. In contrast, "pataça" gets 3 hits, 2 of which are Wikipedia and a mirror and the other is a fish. If there is some evidence that the name should be written "pataça" I am interested to see it.
