Talk:Fifth World nation

I added {{subst:NPOV}} to this. The second paragraph seems written in a quite POV style, but I don't possess the knowledge on the subject to rewrite it myself. -- Jao 17:55, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Don't worry, I've added {{msg:vfd}}. Among other things, these folk claim to own the ".god" top level domain, and the more I read their webpage, the less I am inclined to regard them as a serious source of information. -- The Anome 15:00, 28 May 2004 (UTC)
Well, TTF-Bucksfan or the Fifth World Council doesn't own the .god domain, but the owner, a Canadian Internet Scientist by the name of Joe Baptista, is a Bucksfanian citizen. These domains work on your computer too if you modify your TCP/IP DNS Configuration, or download a plug-in. There are many TLDs here, and it is the parallel Internet known as the Public-Root or the Inclusive Namespace. If you don't believe me that you can navigate these domains, I suggest to visit the website of the edu.bucksfan (http://edu.bucksfan.cyberterra.com) domain, which is managed by Bucksfan University's School of Engineering, and follow the instructions. Once you've downloaded the plug-in, or modified your TCP/IP DNS configuration by hand, I suggest then you try to navigate through those odd domains on that page, and elsewhere in the Fifth World. I think you'll be in for a shock, because you think you know something about the Internet, but you don't really know much. --IndigoGenius 02:33, 30 May 2004 (UTC)
