Talk:Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris or Euro Disney ?
There has been some disagreement about the official name of the resort, (and hence, about the title to give to the article). It looks like it's really "Disneyland Paris" or "Disneyland Resort Paris", and that "Euro Disney" is only the name of the company who operates it.
See:

to get an idea why I think so. -- FvdP 13:04 Aug 28, 2002 (PDT)
- Yes - it was originally called Euro Disney but the name was changed a few years ago. Enchanter
Doing a google check comes up with 73,400 hits for "Disneyland Paris" and 36.000 for "EuroDisney". The Disney website at http://disney.go.com/park/bases/vacationsbase/today/flash/index.html says Disneyland Paris. -- Zoe
Not sure of this:
- since the term "euro-" is disliked in mainland Europe as it has political and bureaucratic connotations
- was that the real reason ? any proof of that ?
- I'm not sure that the term "euro" is so much disliked.
