This one should remain focused on whether or not it's a genocide.
Jane Goodall's opinion of Bush's policies (http://www.truthout.org/docs_03/101403G.shtml) might be of some relevance here.
"extreme assumption"
The phrase "extreme assumption of causality" might be viewed as biased. I personally agree it IS an extreme assumption, but it seems to make a value judgment about the view.
Or perhaps I'm just not reading the sentence right? (In which case maybe rewording it would be in order to prevent the same confusion for others.)
