Gay Marriage
Italic textI am a lesbian woman who has a partner that I would like to be married to. The people who are against our unions are going against the constitution. This is supposed to be the land of the free, well if that is so true then why do you go against what we want? You feel that we will give our disease (as you see it) to others. But it is obvious that you are not that educated on the homosexual world. We are free americans also who vote, work, and pay taxes just like everyone else. We don't persuade other people to be like us this is how we were born. It's not something we picked out like you tend to think. And you people speak of the Bible and try to use that against us, but aren't you also trying to ban the Pledge of Allegiance just because it states the word God? This will probably never get anywhere but it's a shot. You need to get off your high horse and let us be free to do what we want because no matter what you do we aren't going anywhere and you will have to face these issues in years to come, until you give us our freedom to do as we please. This is just how I feel being who I am with children. And my partner feels the same, we are humans to, not some animals that you can discriminate against. I believe that is in the Constitution also, but i could be wrong. We have rights as well as straight people, we have families who get shot down everyday because of our lifestyle and not being able to be who we are without discrimination. So just give us our rights that all we ask. Also if you haven't noticed you should see how long a homosexual relationship last, cause I can guarantee it's a lot longer than a heterosexual couples. sincerely Tabatha Reding Maryville,Mo Comments: tabby_baby@yahoo.com
