Stanford Law School is a graduate school of Stanford University located in Stanford, California in the Silicon Valley. It hosts approximately 550 students at a time who are working towards their Juris Doctor (law) degrees, making it smaller than any of the elite law schools.
Currently, two of the school's alumni are current members of the U.S. Supreme Court (the chief justice and an associate justice), and one is chief justice of the California Supreme Court. Stanford Law School is generally considered to be one of the most prestigious law schools in the United States, and the most prestigious on the West Coast.
