SLAM as an acronym has four possible meanings:
- Simultaneous localization and mapping: a concept in robotic and autonomous navigation.
- The Supersonic Low Altitude Missile, designed and developed at the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory between 1955 and 1964.
- The U.S. Navy's Standoff Land Attack Missile: a modern cruise missile system.
- The Selectable Light-weight Attack Munition is an explosive charge that is used by U.S Special Forces. It is also featured in Half-Life 2 Deathmatch as a satchel charge/tripmine weapon.
Slam has also other meanings as a word:
