SkyEurope (officially SkyEurope Airlines) is a low-cost airline based in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was the first such airline in Central Europe. It operates scheduled and charter passenger and cargo services. Its main base is MR Stefanik Airport (BTS), Bratislava.

Code Data
History
The airline was established in November 2001 and started operations in February 2002. It was founded by Alain Skowronek (Chairman) and Christian Mandl (Chief Executive) financed by EBRD, ABN-Amro and EU funds. It and employs around 100 people. It owns the subsidiary airline SkyEurope Hungary.
Services
SkyEurope operates the following services (at January 2005):
- Domestic scheduled destinations: Bratislava and Kosice.
- International scheduled destinations: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Krakow, London, Milan, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stuttgart, Venice, Warsaw and Zurich.
Bratislava Airport is located within a one-hour drive of Vienna, Brno and Gyor, covering a catchment area of four countries (Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia). SkyEurope operates a bus shuttle from Bratislava Airport to Vienna, 50 km away.
