Minor resorts are:
- Mt Buffalo - run by national parks. A good beginners area and cross country area. The Mt Buffalo Chalet regulary runs weekend-long ski classes for beginners, specialising in families and older people.
- Mt Baw Baw - in Gippsland.
Cross country only resorts are:
- Lake Mountain
- Mt St Gwinear
- Mt Stirling
- Mt Donna Buang (mostly tourist snow).
