Scrooge is the surname of Ebenezer Scrooge, a selfish and miserly character in the story A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The popularity of the original character is such that "Scrooge" has come to mean miserly, anti-social or selfish in general usage. Scrooge can also refer to:
- A number of movies called Scrooge, mostly adaptations of A Christmas Carol.
- The animated Disney character Scrooge McDuck, also a miserly personality, whose name clearly derives from the Dickens character.
- A word which has come to be synonymous with Scrooge and the lack of Christmas spirit in general is "Humbug!"
- SS-15 Scrooge, the NATO reporting name for the RT-20 intercontinental ballistic missile.
