Samantha Smith (born November 27, 1971) was an English tennis player who now commentates on the game, predominantly for the BBC.
Sam was born in Loughton, Essex and attended the University of Exeter where she achieved a degree in history.
Her highest achievement was in reaching the fourth round at the Wimbledon Championships in 1998. She peaked at number 55 in the WTA rankings before injury ended her career.
