SPK

SPK can refer to:
- SPK (band), an Australian-based industrial music group.
- Prussian Cultural Heritage FoundationTemplate:Ref in German Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz, a German foundation maintaining the cultural heritage of the former state of Prussia, including 17 museums (amongst them those on the Museum Island), the state library, and archives in Berlin.
- Socalist Patients' CollectiveTemplate:Ref in German Sozialistisches Patientenkollektiv, a German patients' group of the late 1960s/early 1970s fighting against medicine and doctors as enemies of the "patients' class", seeing capitalism as the reason for illness and trying to see "illness as a weapon" against capitalist society. When parts of the group turned militant and founder Wolfgang Huber, a doctor at the university clinic of Heidelberg, was imprisoned in June 1971, the group (that also called itself "Patients' Front", in German Patientenfront, and used the acronym PF) eventually disbanded. Some former members of the group were later to be found among the leftist Red Army Faction terrorists. A group of some individuals, amongst them Ingeborg Muhler, a lawyer in Mannheim, still claim to be legal successors to the original SPK group and claim to be the only "pro-illness" group in the world. Every effort by journalists or internet authors (including Wikipedia users) to describe the history of the group in other words than what they think appropriate is answered by furious legal threats, to be found on their website, in personal letters and in various message boards. None of their legal action taken (or claimed to have been taken) seem to have resulted in any pro-SPK decision yet or - given the surreal nature of their claims and their disregard of freedom of speech and freedom of press - are likely to ever result in a process in court, let alone any SPK success in the future.
