Ryan Malcolm

Ryan Malcolm (born 13 October 1979) is a Canadian singer who was the winner of the first Canadian Idol.
Ryan comes from Kingston, Ontario.
Before winning the competition he worked as a waiter, and was often referred to as the 'Waiter boy', in reference to the pop singer Avril Lavigne's song Sk8er Boi.
His competition in the contest included singers with great potential, such as Jenny Gear and Billy Klippert. He, however, won out in the end.
