Robert Wexler

Robert I. Wexler (born January 2 1961), American politician, has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1997, representing the 19th District of Florida (map (http://nationalatlas.gov/printable/images/preview/congdist/fl19_109.gif)). He was born in New York City, was educated at University of Florida and George Washington University School of Law in Washington, D.C., and was a lawyer before entering the House. Rep. Wexler is Jewish, and very active on Israeli issues.
He currently is a member of the House Sub Committee on Europe, and currently a Co-Chair with Rep. Ed Whitfield (R-KY) on the Congressional Study Group on Turkey, administered by the United States Association of Former Members of Congress ([1] (http://www.usafmc.org/)])
