Ravi River

(راوی)A river 450 mi (724 km) long in north India flowing southwest to the Chenab and forming part of boundary between Punjab provinces of India and Pakistan. One of the five rivers which gives Punjab its name of punj/پنج (five) ab/ آب (rivers). Ravi was known as Parushni or Iravati to Indians in Vedic times and Hydraotes to Greeks.
