Prince Edward—Hastings is the name of a federal and provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada. Its population is 109,407. (2001)
Geography
The district includes the County of Prince Edward and the County of Hastings (except the City of Quinte West).
History
The electoral district was created in 1966 from Hastings South, Hastings—Frontenac, Northumberland, and from Prince Edward—Lennox. The district was abolished in 1976 into Northumberland and into Prince Edward. Prince Edward however had no elections before it was renamed Prince Edward—Hastings in 1978.
