Phobos

- In Greek mythology, Phobos is one of the sons of Ares (Mars) and Aphrodite (Venus). "Phobos" is Greek for "fear," the root word of "phobia".
- Phobos is the largest and innermost of Mars' two moons.
- The Phobos program consisted of two unmanned probes, Phobos 1 and Phobos 2, sent to Mars by the Soviet Union.
- Phobos (known as Huitzil outside of Japan) is a character in Capcom's fighting game series Darkstalkers.
