Operation Ivy Cyclone II

Operation Ivy Cyclone was an operation launched during the 2003 invasion of Iraq against the resistance stronghold of Tikrit, Iraq. The operation began in early November 2003 and was executed by the United States 4th Infantry Division.
On November 7, an American helicopter was forced down near the city, and the next day heavy air and artillery strikes supported a number of military operations in the area.
