Operation Athena

Operation Athena is a Canadian Forces contribution to the United Nations International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) mission in Kabul, Afghanistan, which began in August 2003.
The combined Canadian Forces contribution are called Task Force Kabul, comprising of about 1,900 personnel (1,700 within Kabul). Their duties include patrols within the Canadian area, digging wells, and building repair.
