Oliver Close
|
Oliver Close is an area of Leyton, East London.
Until 1995 the area consisted of five 21-floored post-World War II flats. However, between 1995 and 2002 they were redeveloped which involved knocking down the five towers and building 90 year housings, developed by HAT housing. This included the redevelopment of Chingford hall Cathall and Boundary. It was once the most deprived area of Waltham Forest. At present over 1,000 people live in the area.
