Olaya Herrera International Airport (IATA airport code EOH) is an airport that serves Medellín, Colombia.
The runway at Olaya Herrera is 5900 feet in length, and is at an altitude of 4940 feet.
The airport is named for Enrique Olaya Herrera, President of Colombia from 1934-1938.
Recently, numerous huge television screens provided by Scala (http://www.scala.com/studies/airport.html) have been installed at Olaya Herrera International Airport. As well as giving those waiting for flights information and the respective times of departure and arrival of flights, these screens are also designed for the entertainment of those waiting, with music and Macromedia Flash animations being played.
Olaya Herrera's runway, unlike many in Latin America, is paved.
The now defunct airline ACES Colombia was based at Olaya Herrera.Template:Airport-stub
