Oklahoma City University is a large private university located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The university is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and offers a wide veriety of degrees including Bachelors, Masters, J.D., L.L. M, and PhD.
OCU is the only Oklahoman institution listed in the top tier of the regional, master level university category by U.S. News and World Report magazine's "America's Best Colleges" issue.

- School of American Dance and Arts Management
- Meinders School of Business
- School of Law (the state's largest)
- School of Music
- Kramer School of Nursing
- Wimberly School of Religion and Graduate Theological Center
The campus sits in the heart of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, amid historic and cosmopolitan inner city neighborhoods including midtown, Asia District, Plaza District, the Paseo (http://www.okclive.com/paseo/) Arts District, Heritage Hills Heritage neighbourhood, and the NW 39th GLBT District. Also nearby is the N. Western District, popular with the creative class, with its rapidly developing Japantown.
OCU is also near the State Capitol complex and the Excitement of Downtown Oklahoma City is only five minutes away. Entertainment, fine arts, museums, restaurants, hotels, professional sports, movie theatres, fine theatre and dance, and shopping are all nearby.
