Okanagan Lake is a lake in the Okanagan Valley. The Okanagan Valley crosses from the province of British Columbia in Canada into Washington State in the United States. In the U.S. it is called the Okanagan Valley.
Okanagan Lake is 111 km long, up to 6.4 km wide, and up to 230 metres deep. Cities bordering the lake include Vernon in the north, Penticton in the south, and Kelowna in the centre. Various lake features include: Rattlesnake Island, a small island east of Peachland; Squally Point, which is a popular area for cliff-diving; Fintry Delta on the west side; and the Okanagan Lake floating bridge, which connects Kelowna to the municipality of Westbank.
Okanagan Lake is said to be home of the lake monster Ogopogo.Template:Canada-place-stub
