NvAGP is a part of the nVIDIA kernel module on Unix-like systems, (Linux, BSD, etc.), that enables access to the graphics card through AGP.
In most cases, it is slower and less stable than agpgart. NvAGP should only be used if you can not use agpgart.
Since agpgart is almost always preferable to NvAGP, it is given priority in the system. Even if you have "NvAGP" "1" in xorg.conf, agpgart will be loaded. To use NvAGP, you must completely remove agpgart from the kernel.
