Norris-LaGuardia Act
|
The Norris-LaGuardia Act (Sen. George Norris R-NE & Rep. Fiorello LaGuardia R-NY) or Anti Injunction Bill of 1932 outlawed yellow dog contracts in which a worker agreed as a condition of employment not to join a labor union. This act declared as public policy labor's right to organize. It also restricted court injunctions in labor disputes.
