NetZero

NetZero is an Internet Service Provider based in the United States. It is a subsidiary of United Online, which also owns Juno Online Services and Bluelight Internet Services.
NetZero, along with it's now-sister company Blulight Internet, were originally aimed toward providing internet access to users free of charge, in exchange for displaying ads on the user's screen in a permanent toolbar. NetZero eventually began charging for internet access totalling over 40 hours/month starting in January 2001, and finally dropping all ad-based programs around 2002 or 2003.
