Ned Leeds

Ned Leeds is a comic book character in the Marvel Comics universe, part of the supporting cast of Spider-Man, first introduced in 1964 in The Amazing Spider-Man # 25, by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. He was Peter Parker's co-worker at the Daily Bugle.
He was married to one-time Spider-Man paramour Betty Brant, though the two were separated at the time of his death. At one point he was revealed to have been the supervillain The Hobgoblin, though this was later retconned to him having been merely a stooge of the real Hobgoblin. The character is currently deceased.
