National Unity (Peru)
|
National Unity (Spanish: Unidad Nacional) is a Peruvian political party.
It is considered Peru's third largest Political party founded in 2000 by Lourdes Flores Nano. The party participated in the 2001 presidential election, receiving 24.3% of the votes in the first round; and it got 17 out of 120 seats on 13.8% of the vote at the congressional elections earlier that same year.
The Party itself is a loose alliance of other Political Parties, like the Christian People's Party.
