Myalgia
|
Myalgia means "muscle pain" and is a symptom of many diseases and disorders.
For example, most viral infections will result in myalgia of varying severity which normally resolves on resolution of the infection.
Myalgias can be chronic (long term) or transient (short term, or acute). Metabolic Myopathies, some nutritional deficiencies and many fatigue syndromes with or without exercise intolerance frequently have myalgia as a symptom. Template:Med-stub
