Mr. Game & Watch
|
Mr. Game & Watch is a fictional character in the Game & Watch series; he is one of Nintendo's first creations (having premiered in 1980). Before the Game Boy was introduced, the Game & Watch series appeared as individual timepieces.
The monochrome character appears as a playable but secret (or locked) character in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
The name "Mr. Game & Watch" was created for Super Smash Bros. Melee – previously the main characters of Game & Watch titles remained nameless.
Super Smash Bros. Melee Information
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mr. Game & Watch can use the following moves:
- Chef (B)
- Judgement (Left or Right,B)
- Fire (Up, B)
- Oil Panic (Down, B)
Move Explanations:
- Chef will flip sausages at various trajectories.
- Judgement will randomly damage an opponent based on the number that appears (although if the number 1 appears Mr. Game & Watch will damage himself and getting a 7 will cause health replenishing food to appear)
- Fire will call two firefighters out of nowhere and bounce Mr. Game & Watch on a trampoline
- Oil Panic will let out a container that will catch the energy of missiles or fire shot at him and use it against the opponent when the container is filled.
Mr. Game & Watch can be 4 different colors: Black, Green, Red or Blue (although Black is the default color), and the color will be solid. Mr. Game & Watch will always appear at the end of All-Star mode even though all the other characters that you have to fight before him will be in random order. When holding a hammer, Mr. Game & Watch is the only character that uses only one hand, and when using an item such as a bunny hood it will be 3-D while Mr. Game & Watch is still 2-D. When Kirby copies Mr. Game & Watch he will become black with white eyes and learns the chef technique (see picture).
