Metro Zócalo is a station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Cuauhtémoc borough, exactly under what has been, for 700 years, the centre of the city.
It serves the main central plaza, the Zócalo (formally known as the Plaza de la Constitución, or Constitution Square). The station is on Line 2.
The station is represented by the national coat of arms (an eagle atop a cactus, with a snake in its beak). Metro Zócalo has two entrances, each accessible by a stairway leading underground, but out of deference to the surrounding architecture, neither is signposted. Each is on opposite sides of the street that encircles the zócalo.
Artwork on the walls of the station reflects the history of the central square. Three large display cases contain models showing the site during three periods in history, from the pyramids of the Aztec civilization to the present day. Buildings surrounding the squate include the Metropolitan Cathedral, the offices of the president, and the offices of the Federal District's local government.

Zócalo station has an information desk and a cultural display. It connects with Metro Pino Suárez station by a large corridor, called Pasaje Zócalo–Pino Suárez. This corridor is filled mostly with bookstores, and also has a free mini-cinema.
