Marfa Lights is a movie, as of June 2004, to be financed and produced by the film school of the University of Texas in Austin, Texas of the U.S. The University of Texas expects to use this low-budget movie to kick start its experimental filmmaking venture where students are given real jobs to make a movie.
Marfa Lights is an unexplained and, possibly, paranormal optical phenomena visible every clear night between Marfa, Texas and the Paisano Pass.
