- Manu is the common nickname of Argentine NBA basketball player Emanuel Ginobili.
- Manu is a member of the cast of a controversial film released in 2000 called Baise-moi. The movie's name is French for Fuck Me, but can also be translated into Rape Me or Kiss Me.
- Manu is a common nickname for Mauno Koivisto, the 9th President of Finland.
