Mantes-la-Ville

Mantes-la-Ville is a French city located at the confluence of the Seine and the Vaucouleurs about 60 km (40 mi) west of Paris in the département of Yvelines. It is part of the communauté d'agglomération of Mantes en Yvelines and had a population of 19,363 in 1999.
Only the Paris—Mantes—Rouen rail line separates it from the city of Mantes-la-Jolie. The A13 autoroute to Normandy also passes through Mantes-la-Ville.
The city's inhabitants are called "Mantevillois" in French.
Economy
Mantes-la-Ville is the headquarters of two world-renowed makers of wind instruments: Buffet-Crampon, which makes clarinets, and Selmer, which makes saxophones.
There is an industrial park on the old site of Cellophane.
