Magic Treehouse series

The Magic Treehouse Series is about two kids, Jack and Annie, who visit historical places by using their magic treehouse. They accomplish this by bringing a book up into the treehouse and pointing to a picture of the place. The treehouse spins around and they are there. The books are by Mary Pope Osbourne.
Dinosaurs Before Dark was the first book in the series. The Magic Treehouse Series now has 28 books, and the Merlin Missions began with book 29. There are four books in this new series.
The Merlin Missions are twice as long as the Magic Treehouse books, and feature Jack and Annie in fantastical, as opposed to historical adventures. Merlin is their guide, and his apprentice, Teddy, is a young sorceror in training who helps Jack and Annie.
