M2 (email client)

The M2 email and news client is built into the Opera web browser. Its interface is somewhat different from many other email clients, to provide better integration into the Opera internet suite. It has excellent spam filtering, supports POP3 and IMAP, newsgroup as well as RSS newsfeeds.
Associated with it are Opera's contact manager and assorted PIM components, an IRC client, and a 'notes' panel. It can display text and HTML emails and uses the Presto layout engine to display HTML. The browser/email client is available for a number of platforms, inluding Microsoft Windows, several specific Linux distributions, and Mac OS X.
