M. Laugier
|
M. Laugier was a French astronomer. Her first name is reported as "Margueritte" by the Spanish Wikipedia, but this needs corroboration.
She was active at the Nice Observatory from the 1930s to the 1950s. Contemporary astronomical articles refer to her as "Madame Laugier".
She discovered a number of asteroids.
Note: Not to be confused with a male "M. Laugier" in the literature (here the M. stands for "Monsieur"), who is probably Paul Auguste Ernest Laugier (December 22, 1812 – April 5, 1872) [1] (http://adsabs.harvard.edu//full/seri/MNRAS/0033//0000211.000.html)Template:Astronomer-stub
