Love Metal is HIM's fourth album, released on April 14, 2003. The limited edition of this album also includes the track "Love's Requiem" and the "Buried Alive By Love" video.
The album cover features nothing but the heartagram symbol, a combination of a heart and a pentagram; HIM tracks are always related to love, romance, pain or dying, so the symbol is reuniting all these three aspects of life. Due to the album's popularity among American middle school and high school students, it can often be found doodled on notebooks, and found on many t-shirts.
