Llangefni

Llangefni is the county town of Anglesey in Wales.
It contains principal offices of Anglesey County Council. The buildings and the layout of the town are practical rather than beautiful.The town lies at the centre of the island on the River Cefni and is home to the Oriel Ynys Môn museum, detailing the history of Anglesey which house the legacy collection of the works of art of Charles Tunnicliffe.
There is a relatively large industrial estate providing a substantial part of the employment on Anglesey and includes a fine chemical manufacturer a slaughterhouse and a sewage treatment works.
Llangefni hosted the National Eisteddfod in 1957, 1983, and 1999.
