Below is a list of Coalition aircraft that have crashed in Iraq. It includes helicopters as well as fixed-wing aircraft.
Helicopters
- May 31, 2005 - An Italian AB-412 helicopter crashes near Nasiriyah, killing the four soldiers on board.
- May 26, 2005 - An OH-58 Kiowa is shot down near Baquba, killing the two crewmen.
- January 28, 2005 - OH-58 Kiowa crashes in Baghdad, killing the two crewmen.
- January 26, 2005 - CH-53 crashes in Al-Anbar province, killing 31 US Marines on board
- December 15, 2004 - A helicopter crashes near Karbala after it suffers engine failure; 3 Polish soldiers are killed and 4 injured.
- December 9, 2004 - AH-64 Apache hit a UH-60 Black Hawk on the ground at a Mosul base, killing 2 soldiers and wounding 4.
- November 12, 2004 - UH-60 Black Hawk shot down northest of Baghdad, wounding 3 of the 4 crew members.
- November 11, 2004 - Two AH-1 Super Cobras are shot down near Fallujah; all pilots are rescued.
- October 16, 2004 - Two OH-58 Kiowas collide near Baghdad, killing 2 soldiers and wounding 2 others.
- September 21, 2004 - UH-60 Black Hawk crashes near Nasiriyah, wounding 3 crew members.
- September 8, 2004 - Helicopter crashes 20 miles south of Fallujah; all 4 crew members survive.
- August 11, 2004 - CH-53 crashes in the Al-Anbar province, killing 2 Marines and wounding 3 others.
- August 5, 2004 - UH-1 Iroquois shot down near Najaf; crew wounded.
- July 19, 2004 - near Basra, a British Aérospatiale Puma crashes, killing one crewman and injuring two others.
- June 24, 2004 - AH-1 Cobra shot down in Fallujah; pilots safe.
- June 13, 2004 - OH-58 Kiowa crashes north of Baghdad; both pilots safe.
- June 12, 2004 - A helicopter went down near Baghdad, injuring the two pilots.
- April 13, 2004 - Sikorsky MH-53 crashes near Fallujah--three on board are wounded and a Marine is killed trying to rescue them.
- April 11, 2004 - Apache helicopter shot down near Baghdad, killing the two pilots.
- April 7, 2004 - US helicopter crashes near Baquba.
- February 25, 2004 - OH-58 Kiowa crashed west of Baghdad, killing the two pliots.
- January 25, 2004 - OH-58 Kiowa downed near Mosul, both pilots killed.
- January 8, 2004 - near Fallujah, UH-60 Black Hawk is shot down, killing 9 soldiers.
- January 2, 2004 - near Fallujah, OH-58 Kiowa shot down, one soldier killed.

- November 7, 2003 - near Tikrit, UH-60 Black Hawk shot down; six killed.
- November 2, 2003 - near Fallujah, Chinook shot down; 16 soldiers killed.
- October 25, 2003 - near Tikrit, UH-60 Black Hawk crashes after reportedly being hit by ground fire, 5 soldiers injured.
- September 2, 2003 - near Baghdad, 1 soldier killed as UH-60 Black Hawk rolls over.
- June 12, 2003 - near Baghdad, Apache helicopter shot down, pilots rescued.
- May 19, 2003 - CH-46 Sea Knight crashes, killing 5 marines.
- May 9, 2003 - Helicopter downed, 3 killed.
- April 5, 2003 - AH-1 Cobra shot down; pilot dies.
- April 2, 2003 - near Karbala, UH-60 Black Hawk crashes, killing 6 soldiers.
- March 30, 2003 - UH-1 Huey crashes; 2 die.
- March 27, 2003 - Apache helicopter shot down in southern Iraq.
- March 23, 2003 - Apache shot down, 2 pilots taken prisoner.
- March 21, 2003 - 4 Marines killed as helicopter crashes.
- March 20, 2003 - CH-46 Sea Knight crashes, killing 8 British soldiers and 4 Marines.
- March 19, 2003 - Sikorsky MH-53J Pave Low III, carrying special forces, crashes in southern Iraq. No one is injured and it is later destroyed.
Fixed-Wing Aircraft
- May 2, 2005 - Two F-18 fighter jets collide over south-central Iraq, killing the two pilots.
- January 30, 2005 - A British C-130 crashes north of Baghdad, killing ten British soldiers.
- June 12, 2003 - F-16 crashes near Baghdad, pilot ejects.
- April 8, 2003 - A-10 Warthog shot down by AAA; pilot OK.
- April 7, 2003 - F-15 shot down, both pilots killed.
- April 2, 2003 - F-18 Hornet shot down by Patriot missile, killing the pilot.
- April 1, 2003 - F-14 Tomcat crashes; pilots survive.
- April 1, 2003 - AV-8 Harrier crashes off ship in Gulf; pilot is rescued.
- April 1, 2003 - S-3 Viking crashes off carrier; two pilots survive.
- March 23, 2003 - RAF Tornado GR4 shot down by US Patriot missile, killing the two pilots.
