Lion Nathan is an Australian based group of breweries, operating in Australia, New Zealand and China. It is one of the largest alcoholic beverage companies in the region, in competition with Foster's Group.

Beers
Lion Nathan, originally a New Zealand Company, established itself in Australia after its purchase of Bond Breweries (see Alan Bond), which gave it the Tooheys and Castlemaine Perkins breweries. Since then it has purchased several other large brewers.
Tooheys
The Tooheys brand is mainly found in New South Wales, though in recent times attempts have been made to establish it in other states (see Melbourne Beer War).

Castlemaine Perkins
Known for their XXXX brand, Castlemaine Perkins is the largest brewer in Queensland.

Originally a premium brewer established in Sydney, the Hahn brand has spread throughout Australia

Other
In the late 1990s, Lion Nathan produced a beer called Duff, a previously fictional brand name familiar to viewers of The Simpsons as a spoof of American beer. 20th Century Fox sued for trademark infringement and won.
Wines
In 2001 Lion Nathan branched out into producing wine, by purchasing a number of premium Australian wineries.
