Lillian Marie Bounds (born February 15, 1899 in Lewiston, Idaho; died December 16, 1997 from a stroke) was the wife of Walt Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) until his death. She was also married to John L. Truyens (1969 – 1981) until his death.
Walt and Lillian had two daughters - Diane Disney and Sharon Disney, the latter whom they adopted. She also had a sister named Hazel Sewell. She is aunt of Roy Edward Disney and grandmother to Chris Miller, Joanna Miller, Tamara Scheer, Jennifer Miller-Goff, Walter Elias Disney Miller, Ronald Miller and Victoria Brown.
In 1987, Lillian Disney pledged $50 million towards the construction of a new home for the L.A. Philharmonic. After many delays, the Walt Disney Concert Hall opened in 2003, six years after Lillian's death.
Her filmography includes work as an ink artist on the 1928 film Plane Crazy.
