Leonid Stadnik

Leonid Stadnik is believed to be the world's tallest man at 8 feet, 4 inches tall (April, 2004) and he is still growing. He also has the biggest palm in the world, at 31 centimeters long. He is a certified veterinarian and veterinary surgeon and lives in Podoliantsy, Ukraine.
As with Robert Wadlow, Leonid Stadnik has a pituitary gland tumor that excretes large amounts of growth hormone resulting in what doctors describe as acromegalic gigantism. Death is usually caused by heart complications that result from trying to maintain the very large circulation.
