Leon Rooke

Leon Rooke (born 1934) is a Canadian novelist. He was born in North Carolina in the United States, but moved to Canada in 1969. He now lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Rooke championed The Stone Angel by Margaret Laurence in the 2002 edition of Canada Reads.
